This blog shares my journey to learn more about the Virgin Mary’s earthly life. After learning about her Seven Sorrows I came to realize that her life here was not what I had always imagined. Yes, she was the chosen one, but instead of leading a blessed life, free of the stresses most of us experience, she endured more than most of us could ever handle. Her reward came on the day of her assumption, but until that time she faced most of her life without her spouse, St. Joseph, and without her son, Jesus.

What did she experience in this life and how did she continue to live it with the faith that we all can only hope for? That is what this blog will explore.

As previously mentioned on the home page, I am not a theologian. I am, however, relentlessly curious about this most remarkable woman. While on this mission I will connect with those that are theologians and scholars to find answers to my many questions, and I will share our discussions here. I will also share my own personal thoughts and revelations along the way. The information in each post will be clearly identified as either coming from an authoritative source, or simply as my own personal reflections.
