Today, September 15, marks the Memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows. However, every morning, before I get out of bed, I remember Our Lady’s Seven Sorrows, along with a Hail Mary to accompany each. It sets the tone for the day ahead and helps me to keep things in my life in perspective. I do admit, though, that the seven graces Our Lady promises for those that reflect on them daily is a big motivation, too.
My daily prayers are likely the reason I scored 100% on today’s Hallow app Trivia game, focused on today’s memorial. I thought I’d share today’s five questions, along with the possible answers. The correct answer to each is highlighted in green.

If you haven’t yet downloaded the Hallow app, it’s worth a look. It’s set up in such a way that you can read the daily readings and then hear a short homily, all in about eight to 10 minutes. I also enjoy following along with Mark Wahlberg each and every day as he prays the rosary. You can even select in what timeframe you’d like to complete the rosary. Mark has it down to about 16 minutes. And it doesn’t feel rushed. He prays the rosary with conviction. I like that. And listening to Bishop Barron’s Sunday Sermons is always inspiring.
Much of the Hallow app is free, but there are some paid features I’ve yet to tap into. Let me know if you subscribe and what you like best about the app.
I am hoping to bring more knowledge about the Virgin Mary to the world, especially during these times when we need her most.
